Layers of relative distances, experiences and dimensions are what define life by the sea.
The house is located in the dunes of the Baltic Sea.

The sharp linear thatch structure elegantly intersects with the curved lines of the environment.
Material of the main facade – straw
– was inspired by the traditional construction method in the area.
The challenge was to design a holiday home for a family of kitesurfers where they could relax in the most comfortable way.
All rooms overlook the endless horizon towards the sea. Living room, kitchen, dining room and living room are grouped into one.
The spaces at different levels create a great experience in which social interactions occur.
Light falling from above gives the house a fresh character.
The interior is full of wood and warmth. A little raw and soft at the same time.
Invites and brings a festive mood.
